At Nara, you don’t just eat… you respect the food. Beautiful plating ✔ Real Thai flavour ✔ Not oily, not salty, just perfectly balanced ✔ Every dish looked premium and tasted even better. Especially the crab meat with yellow curry 🤯 Rich, creamy, and loaded with sweet crab, dangerous level good. One bite and you already know you’re ordering extra rice. Again, it’s dangerous place… because you’ll keep ordering more without thinking 🤣 Worth the calories. Worth the money. No regret meal.
Food is just ‘ok’. We’ve been to other Nara restaurants and this one is easily the worst. The value for money is very poor here. E.g. cashew chicken will be mostly onion and mushroom, with 4-5 tiny pieces of deepfried (yes, deep fried) chicken, a large portion of tom yum with river prawn has nothing but 1 river prawn and soup, no other filling. You’re better off eating at a random local restaurant than coming to this Nara. Drinks easily run 300+ per person
Wanted to show off to a foreign visitor great Thai restaurant food. On Google maps reviews this seem to be a good choice. For its price level , positioning and colourful menu - what you get is pretty disappointing and honestly some Thai canteens can dish out more praiseworthy food. Artful skills like timing the food to arrive together with slow dishes etc is absent. Even payment took some time in a lightly patronised joint. Positioned as a BMW but it delivers the performance of a Toyota with one missing tyre ......
Solid 3.5/5 restaurant. Quite pricey compared to other good restaurants in the area but the food is truly good. The pictured food was for 4 people - the Tom Yum was good but quite a small portion even though we ordered the larger size. Curry crab meat was good, but it cost over 1k baht for this crab meat dish which I see as pricey. We went near closing time so the service was relatively slow. Maybe an experience earlier in the day would be better.
I doubt the hygiene of the restaurant as I found the new cup is still have the lipstick mark from previous client! This is disgusting! The food is not tasty and pricey, disappointed seafood and super salty fish soup. The worst meal I had in my past 7 days Thailand trip. Not recommend at all.
