Jingmei Night Market covers a fairly large area, but the more commercially vibrant spots are somewhat scattered, so it’s not the most convenient to navigate. Most of the food We tried here was delicious—no disappointments at all. You can find cuisines from all around the world, but my personal favorite is still traditional Taiwanese food. Even for the same dish, different vendors have their own unique flavors, and each one is worth trying. One downside is that some paths are quite narrow, and with people lining up, it can be a bit difficult to walk around. Overall, though, it’s still an excellent night market.
{景美夜市}、The seafood soup and porridge here are excellent, and the dishes are fresh, delicious, and fragrant. Whether it's fried noodles, fried rice, or stir-fried lamb, beef, or vegetables, the food here is all very tasty. Whatever you crave, this place can satisfy your needs. The fruits and skewers are all of very high quality and incredibly fresh. The prices are also reasonable. Seafood pairs even better with white wine, and grilled meat is a perfect complement to Taiwanese beer. The environment here is very clean and tidy; everyone diligently sorts their trash, and the people are incredibly friendly and welcoming, reflecting the hospitality, understanding, and warmth of Taiwanese culture. Sincere blessing and wishes for peace, warmth and happiness.🎼🌤️❤️🐕🦺☕️✍🏻⋯⋯
We visited Jingmei Night Market last weekend, and it was a fantastic experience. Unlike some of the more crowded "tourist" markets, this one felt very local and authentic. The atmosphere was lively but manageable, making it a great spot for a casual Saturday night out with friends. We tried three different foods that really stood out. First, the fried chicken steak was incredibly juicy with a perfectly crispy crust. We also had the pan-fried buns (Sheng Jian Bao), which were packed with flavor, and finished with a refreshing bowl of Douhua. Between snacks, we stopped at a stall to play a balloon shooting game. It was surprisingly addictive and added a fun, competitive energy to our visit. The best part of the night was definitely the food quality and the affordable prices. However, one downside was the seating. Many stalls are quite small, so finding a place to sit down and eat comfortably was a bit of a challenge, and the walkways can get a little cramped during peak hours. Overall, it’s a must-visit for anyone looking for a Taipei night market vibe.
i've noticed this old Night Market is cater more for the locals.it is not much tourists will know coming to tis place. i can find more locals and authentic type of Taiwanese food in this Night market. Honestly, i find this night market is more interesting than Shilin market, reason being i can really feel the Taiwanese authentic local food varieties and i have more choice here. The location of this market is pretty good, u may alight at Jingmei station via exit 1,left turn at the upper deck of the station exit then walk across to the main road and u will find this market. if u really want to taste the real local Taiwanese food, just come to this place for a try, i know u won't b disappointed. remember to walk through the whole area coz that is plenty of hidden food stalls and shops inside those sub-road.
Very local vibes. We had one too many chicken sausage and green onion pancake here. Chicken Sausage is similar to the one we are fond of at Raohe, but also different. Perhaps fattier. Green Onion Pancake was not oozing with oil. In fact, it looked as if it was baked at first glance. The salt used is noticeable. Delicious!
