The Triangle Bar

My all time favorite place in this town and in my top five in the entire world. Far and away, this is my drug of choice! Live music, multiple bands & lead singers keep it interesting with a huge variety of music. If you don't end up clapping, cheering, dancing or singing along, you probably need to go see a doctor to make sure you have a pulse. Most of the other live bands in the area, that I'm aware of, are almost exclusively heavy metal, or at such a lower quality that they don't keep my attention past a single drink, but at Triangle you'll hear mostly feel good rock and roll that you can actually feel and sing along to, with an occasional fun Thai song mixed in to get the local ladies cheering & dancing. The variety literally spans 60+ years of music hits. Started coming here in 2017 and was a regular until 2020 COVID. So genuinely relieved to see the place still thriving, belting out the tunes & rocking it out in 2026 👌. I can't say enough good things about the staff or the owners for creating such a special place. They are typically enjoying the music and atmosphere as much as the customers are, and there is a family atmosphere among all the ladies working there (now in 2026, I recognize many from 2017). They have always been 100% accurate with my bill & zero scammer issues! Also there are no drink beggars (like so many other business models that have popped up around town). With that said, I have noticed some of the ladies will sometimes have a drink with a customer, but there are no expectations. Prices are a fraction of what it costs in a go-go bar and only a few baht more than the cheapest of Cheap Charlie hole in the wall bars, so to have all this great live music to enjoy, it really is the best value in town & IMHO no other entertainment venue is comparable in the area. If the Triangle bar does end up getting too busy however, I reserve the right to pull down this review and say something "terrible" about the place until there's enough room for me to join the party (wink). So far, even on the busiest of nights, the staff has always been able to find me a chair. For an introverted person like myself, these often end up being the funnest of nights because I end up chatting with somebody interesting or simply having a drinking buddy to cheers and clink bottles with for an evening of revelry & merrymaking.

Great place to listen to good music and see the few live shows that play daily. Low key. Unassuming. Good break from the surrounding girly bars. No food and each drink begets you a second, as is mandatory. Waitresses are sweet and attentive. Often they seat you with others to get people interacting. The two main bands are awesome.

Great bar went in here in few times great music and staff and all beers or other drinks are 2 for 1 even better definitely recommend to go here.

Outstanding bands! Great sound!! Reasonably priced drinks!!! NO LADY DRINKS!!!!NO B.S.!!!!! All these other fools who have been fleecing their customers for years and now cry about no business should take a lesson!!!!!! Provide value to your customers like Steve does and all your problems will magically disappear!!!!!!!

Love this place but preferred it when it was all open, not enclosed. Great service, great music and the sound seems v professionally done. Great accommodating bar staff..
