豬血湯 include pork blood, pork, and various odorless offal, very rich pepper soup. The skin of 酥肉 very crispy even hard, it's a must try in the China Town. Cash only.
Roll Noodle Soup 100

Came during lunch time on a weekend and there was just one table ahead of us in the queue. Order first and make payment. The group will be seated once there's a table vacated. The gway jub was served hot and the pepper soup was not too overpowering. I like the gway here as it is soft but not too soft. The roasted crispy pork had a nice fat lean ratio. The trotter rice was simple and good.
Visited Nai Ek Roll Noodle during our Chinatown trip and it was one of the most satisfying meals we had. The place was busy with a lively atmosphere, which is always a good sign, but the service was still fast and organized. We ordered the signature roll noodle soup and it was excellent. The broth was rich, peppery, and full of flavor without being too heavy. The rolled noodles had a smooth texture and soaked up the soup beautifully, making every bite comforting and delicious. We also tried the black chicken soup, which was a pleasant surprise. The soup tasted rich and nourishing, with a deep herbal flavor that felt very comforting. Perfect if you want something warm and hearty. The real star of the meal was the deep fried crispy pork. It came out hot, perfectly crispy, and incredibly addictive. The outside had a satisfying crunch while the meat inside stayed juicy and tender. It was so good that I immediately ordered another portion because one serving was not enough. The boiled bean curd was simple but done well, soft and fresh, while the chrysanthemum drinks were refreshing and balanced out the richness of the food nicely. Overall, this is a fantastic spot in Yaowarat for classic comfort food done right. Great flavors, quick service, and dishes that make you want to come back again. Highly recommended if you are visiting Chinatown.
I've been coming to this venerable grande dame for a couple of decades and it's been going from strength to strength. Today, it's a tightly run ship with an army of service staff scurrying around taking and fulfilling orders. This place is normally full at peak meal times but service is quick, table turnover happens at a healthy clip and wait times aren't too bad. The menu is tourist friendly with photos and English wording. My standard order each time is a small bowl of the roll noodles with a side order of the crispy pork belly. The roll noodles come chock-a-block full of ingredients, all of it complemented by a tasty broth that has a slightly sweet finish to it. I'd caution against adding more pepper to this as there's already plenty and anymore would destroy the balance of the broth. The crispy pork is as advertised, crunchy to the bite and even tastier if you dab it in the sweet black sauce provided. I'll be back as long as I can still travel !
8/6/26 - 4.5 stars A Michelin recommended small eatery in Chinatown. Place gets pretty crowded, but, it bustles with good vibes. Service is fairly quick, but, as expected with a cheap eat, don't expect super comfy seating or indoor air con. Pork rump Flavour: S+, 8.5/10. It's tasty and juicy with just enough fat. Good all rounder Texture: S, 8/10. Tender and juicy. Value: S, 8/10. 100 baht for the plate with rice. Crispy pork Flavour: SS, 9/10. Texture: SS+, 9.5/10. Almost perfect. The meat could have a bit juicier. Value: A, 7/10. 200 baht for that plate Roll noodles soup Soup: SS+, 9.5/10. Peppery and a bit spiced with the good umami. Could have been slightly deeper in flavour but otherwise excellent. Pork: SS, 9/10 Noodles: SS, 9/10. Bouncy and chewy. Signature dish for a reason Value: S, 8/10. 100 baht. Best dish for sure.
Nak Ek's roll noodles are a must-try! The broth is peppery and flavorful, and the noodles have that perfect chewy texture. I especially enjoyed the pork option – the meat was tender and delicious. Service is quick and friendly, making it a great spot for a quick and satisfying meal. Just a heads up: I wasn't a big fan of the mixed vegetables, so I'd recommend sticking to the noodle dishes. Overall, a solid choice for a tasty dinner!
