ตั้งใจปิ้ง หมูกระทะ (TANG JAI PING MOOKATA)

This is by far the best restaurant i eat in bangkok. Talking about value, it is 490 for large mookata for 2 people. The service is immaculate! They gave complementary dessert as well. When they saw i am recording, the staff cooked and also help to make their signature sauce. Really recommend if you go to Bangkok! Special shoutout to the owner and Ek serving us!

Would have given 6 stars if I could! Fresh food, excellent service and quality taste! Our first time eating and experiencing charcoal grilled it was really great! Highly recommend everyone who is travelling to come here and try it out!

I never wrote a review in my life, so this should tell you how great this place was. I absolutely adored the food, we took a large portion and didn’t manage to finish, we also got complementary deserts. The owner is a fantastic host, very attentive and helpful for us ignorant white people 😁 loved every minute we spent there. We spent 9 days only in Bangkok and this was my favourite place we ate. Thank you so much! What a great memory this will be!

The squid was chewy and tender. The jellyfish was also delicious. I don't usually eat liver, so I just coat the grilled part with fat and then grill the meat. The vegetables were delicious, and the egg yolk was fresh. I ordered a small pot, and for the sauce, I mixed the garlic and chili peppers from the container. The sauce was absolutely delicious. It was my fault. I was a little disappointed that I went late and couldn't have the shaved ice beer. However, they kindly greeted me even though it was almost closing time. I was late because I got a massage. Honestly, I recommended Street Food Fighter and Sung Si-kyung, but they seem to have passed their prime now. I recommend going before the new place raises its prices dramatically.

Authentic local charcoal mookata, ate for so many years and this is the first time the local taught us how they eat. Wonderful service, attentive and heed to your needs whenever or even when you didn’t know you need. Heat is not overwhelming and the restaurant is not hot at all despite that it’s open air. Breezy cooling with the big fans. Kids friendly sauce and my LO loves it. Most importantly, it’s not crowded. Great place for friends and family to gather and relax. Like the owner said, mookata is meant for party/ gathering times in Thailand. I think he’s right.
