This restaurant is located near Chinatown in Bangkok, but I wouldn’t recommend walking from the MRT station as it’s quite far. It’s better to take a taxi or ride-hailing service for convenience. I arrived around 6 PM. The restaurant was busy, but luckily I got a table right away. I ordered fried noodles with bacon, and another one with chicken and squid. It was truly a unique take on kwetiau—the noodles were stir-fried until crispy with a distinct smoky flavor. The texture and taste were outstanding, something different from the usual style. Absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and fast, and the restaurant is air-conditioned, which made the dining experience comfortable. However, it does get quite crowded during peak hours. Overall, it’s a great spot to try if you’re looking for something a little different and full of flavor.
Went there for dinner, there was a queue but it didn’t take long (15-20min). Service is average, pretty simple place but the fried noodles with chicken and a runny egg were sooo good!! Only thing is the portion is a bit small but for the price it’s ok (I would maybe even get 2)
Came on a private food tour & so glad we did. Experiencing this true local specialty was a highlight out of this world in flavour & the most delicious checking skin snacks. As a part of our tour, we were lucky enough to see the action happening live in the kitchen as well as learn about how true to local this wonderful business has been in maintaining local pricing despite the tough conditions for business owners. Thank you team for this amazing meal & the memories 🙌🤌🙏
𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰: Had the Fried Noodles with Chicken, Bacon & Runny Egg which was quite enjoyable. The Lime Chicken Noodle Soup, however, was just average. Nothing too special, but it does have a refreshing taste. 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞: I ordered a can of A&W root beer and was given two cups of ice. Apparently, extra cups of ice cost 1฿ each, something to take note of. ✨Fried Noodles with chicken, bacon. Runny egg 80฿ ✨Lime Chicken Noodles Soup 65฿ ✨2 cup of Ice 2฿ ✨A&W root beer 20฿
tried Khua Gai for the first time! This Thai noodle dish is for all you pad see ew lovers: it’s the lesser-known street food cousin that packs a real punch—definitely a must-try. Chewy, charred noodles with perfectly marinated chicken? A match made in heaven.
