⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We really enjoyed our visit to Coffee S Taipei. I ordered a dark roast coffee with light and clean milk, while my husband chose a medium-light roast with the same milk option. I personally loved the dark roast as it had a pleasant bitterness, which is exactly how I like my coffee. The light and clean milk complemented the coffee perfectly without masking its rich flavour. My husband prefers coffee that is less bitter, so the medium-light roast suited him well. It was smooth, easy to drink, and tasted more like a latte. The café itself is beautifully designed, with unique tables that add character to the space. However, the seating area is relatively small, so it is more suitable for couples, small families, or a get-together with close friends rather than large groups. The atmosphere is wonderful. Not only is the café charming, but the entire street has a nostalgic Japanese-style vibe with preserved old houses in the Da'an area. Directly opposite is a famous Michelin-recommended beef noodle shop, making it a perfect combination to enjoy a hearty breakfast followed by a great cup of coffee at Coffee S. Highly recommended for coffee lovers who appreciate quality beans, a relaxing atmosphere, and beautiful surroundings. One thoughtful touch that we really appreciated was that they allow customers to bring home the coffee cups as souvenirs. They even provide a protective cover and a carry bag, making it easy and safe to take the cups home. It's a nice gesture that makes the experience feel even more special and memorable.

Very unique experience of having iced cold -68c bespoke coffee. The glass coffee cup is first kept in a freezer, milk and coffee is then added in to transform the coffee mixture ice cold without diluting the taste. Thumbs up experience for recommendation.

You have to wait a long time in the queue outside, even when there are free tables inside, which feels poorly managed. The coffee quality was disappointing. It tasted more like low-grade supermarket coffee than something you’d expect from a specialty café. Overall, the place seems overrated and doesn’t live up to the hype. I wouldn’t return and can’t recommend it.

I didn’t like my chocolate latte at all. The ice cream that came with it (I think?) I’m not sure we didn’t order the ice cream but it was great
