Fantastic service. The lady attended our table was very kind and professional. Food-wise I wasn’t impressed. It’s just too heavy and one-sided. Was looking for more delicate and interesting flavors/textures. Best dish of the night has to be the abalone puff pastry thing - very flavorful I have had better peking duck at 1* and 2* Michelin restaurants in Shanghai. I would appreciate if they had explain how their duck is prepared and served differently in Taipei (san choy bao was interesting but confusing without explanation). The portions and prices are very fair at this caliber of 3* Michelin.

Mar 26 First time visiting this 3 michelin star chinese restaurant in Taipei, They have been opened for quite sometime and got the 3 star since 2018 up till today. A bit skepticism at first, thinking that 3 star michelin usually will take 3 hour dinner time at least. But not this one. Foods come fast enough. Taste is very very good Presentation for the duck is something to be remembered. Especially for first timers like us. Ambience: feel luxurious and old chinese charm elegance Service: very good and attentive as 3 star michelin high standard Food: the long island cocktail is very good. Duck one of the best with 3-4 cooking style of the meat and skin. Other foods also great and delicious. Will come back again. Wish they can always keep the 3 star. Not an easy accomplishment. Congrats.

Having been to different Michelin starred restaurants all over the world, this is by far the best service Ive received. Food was also excellent. The scallion cake and fried cheese pastry surprised me the most in terms of flavour and textures. Highly recommend!

I was treated absolutely terribly and feel outright disrespected, especially by our server, James Lin. This type of service and treatment is something I would not even expect at any restaurant, and I cannot understand how this happened. Our server, James, was extremely rude, disrespectful, and an outright liar. I will lay out the facts. My family of 6 had ordered the pork ribs with vinegar sauce. Our server, James, repeated our order back to us, and all 6 of us heard the pork ribs included in the order. All our dishes came out except for the ribs. We ate these dishes for about 30 minutes when another server approached us about ordering dessert since the kitchen was closing soon. We notified her that we had not received the ribs, and we could all see the shock on her face as she ran back to fix the problem. Our main server, James, then came over and asked us to order dessert, and we told him about the ribs to make sure they were still coming. He then, in a very demeaning voice, said, "Yes, I know!" We ordered dessert from him, as we understood the kitchen was closing soon. However, we received no apology or acknowledgment of the mistake from James. We then sat there for 20-30 minutes, patiently waiting for the ribs. At the beginning of this wait, we saw our 2 desserts sitting behind us. We then received our ribs after waiting, and then were served our desserts, which had been sitting on a serving tray for 30 minutes. These desserts were the almond tofu and panna cotta, which were supposed to be served cold, but were now room temperature and completely watery. And this whole time, our main server, James, completely disappeared. He had not come to check up on us about the ribs or the dessert, and we even had to flag another server down to settle the check. Throughout this whole process, we did not receive one apology for the ribs being delayed or the dessert sitting out for so long. The worst part was when we contacted the restaurant later about our concerns, we received a response that said, "The ribs were purposely served last because of their rich flavor." This is clearly a lie and an excuse, as even if they are supposed to be served last, a restaurant is not going to make its customers wait for a dish 30 minutes after they finish eating everything else. On our receipt, we saw that the ribs were listed last on the bill, even after the 2 desserts we ordered, further showing how the ribs were forgotten. When we talked further with the restaurant team, we found out that the excuse of "wanting to serve the ribs last" was created by James himself, which made us feel even more disrespected. The fact that James could not take ownership for forgetting a dish, not only to us but also by lying about it to his own restaurant team, is absolutely outrageous. And because of his persistent lying about what happened, we have had to endure so much more when trying to resolve these concerns with the restaurant team.

Great food, great service for a 3 Star Michelin restaurant. Food is extremely tasty, extremely unique. Can feel the uniqueness of the food, taste, and quality. Staff are also very attentive and accommodative. Early reservations are required, otherwise will not be able to get a seat. Will visit again!
