惣菜、野菜、豚肉、鮮魚 市民の市場、見るだけでも楽しめる、空調が効いて買い物し易い
フードコートみたいなエリアが一番奥にあって、入ってすぐ左の店が行列してた。並んで魯肉飯みたいなの食べたけど、隣の店の方のが美味しかった。
私が訪れたのは市場が改装工事に入る前だったため、建物は正直、薄暗く、床には水が流れ、魚介類の匂いが漂う、昔ながらの雑多な雰囲気でした。その機能美とカオスが同居するような、密度感のある空間に、非日常的な冒険感をそそられる独特の魅力を感じたものです。 そして、そのカオスぶりを象徴するのが、なんと市場の二階にスクーターが走っている光景を見たことです。あの細い通路をバイクが通るなんて、日本では考えられませんよね。まさに地元の人々の生活の中心地として、自由で活発な空気が溢れていました。 今は改装を終えて、北投中継市場という仮設施設で営業しているそうですね。案内を見ると、現在は冷房がしっかり効いていて、清潔で明るく、通路も整然としていて非常に快適だとか。エリアもA棟からD棟まで分かれていて、生鮮食品、雑貨、そしてグルメが集まる美食エリアと、ゾーニングがしっかりされているようです。新しくなって、あのバイクが乗り入れるような光景は見られなくなったかもしれませんが、昔ながらのローカル感も残っているのか、また訪れて確かめてみたいですね。 特に賑わっていたのは美食エリアです。テレビやガイドブックにもよく載っている「矮仔財滷肉飯」の行列がすごくて、一時並ぶのを断念しようかと思いました。ここは朝早くから昼過ぎまでが勝負なんですね。 私もここで食べたローカルフードがうまかったです。有名店の魯肉飯は少し並びましたが、安くて美味しい地元の味に舌鼓を打ちました。他には牡蠣の麺線や台湾らしいスイーツもあって、朝食やブランチを楽しむのに最適です。市場周辺の路上にも屋台が並んでいて、そちらのローカル感も楽しめます。 地元の人々の情熱と活力を肌で感じられる、非常に魅力的な場所でした。温泉観光とセットで、ぜひ台北のディープな一面を体験してみてください。
室内にある冷房の効いた結構、広い施設の北投市場です。A棟～Ｄ棟まであって、エリアごとに食品、雑貨、飲食などにわかれています。結構、広くて全てをじっつくり見て回ると相当な時間が掛かります。室内にあるので雨でも平気ですし、冷房も効いているので快適な買物や飲食が可能です。
色々なお店が整然と並ぶリニューアルされた綺麗で活気の在る市場。 特にD棟にはグルメが集まっているので朝食からブランチまで楽しめます。迷ってたら市場の人が店(422)まで案内してくれて外帯の食事を他店の店舗で食べれる様交渉してくれました。 おかず、お粥、粽、麺とどの店も美味しかった。もう一軒隣の(423)の麺もモチモチで美味しかった。ホテル朝食より雰囲気の在る市場飯の方が好きです。

It’s an under cover market that’s pretty cooling. They sell some fruits here and a bit of snacks but mostly vegetables. NT 20 for one piece of pineapple tart and we spent about NT 200 on a tiny bunch of longan. If you keep going you’ll come to the wet market where they sell fresh seafood here.
Clean, air-conditioned and well-stocked wet market with meat options from Section 8 onwards and vegetarian options from Section 1 to 7. Price of groceries are reasonable affordable. I love the vegan oat wrap in the veggie section especially. It had alfafa and roasted pumpkin nuts, run by a mother and daughter pair. Vendors are friendly and hardworking but patrons are mostly checking out the goods. Do your grocery shopping here if you want the vendors to continue to run the market.
Love this Beitou market, very bustling and lively especially in the morning! You can buy fresh produce and local food. You can even get tailor services here. Cooked food is available for breakfast and early lunch in Section D.
