We visited on a Sunday evening and had made a reservation in advance. Although there was a long queue outside the restaurant, everything was well organized, with seating provided for customers while they waited. Since we had a reservation, we only waited about 5 minutes before being seated. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful, walking us through the menu and suggesting that we place our order while waiting. The process was simple and efficient—we ordered and paid at the counter before being shown to our table. The food arrived quickly, taking less than 10 minutes to be served. Overall, the quality was excellent. The ingredients tasted fresh, and every dish was flavorful. The chicken and scallop soup was particularly delicious, while the cabbage was surprisingly sweet and fresh. The truffle noodles were another highlight and complemented the meal perfectly. The classic braised pork rice was also very well done. Do note that the portion is quite small—just a small bowl—but at only NT$50, it’s hard to complain about the value. Despite the restaurant being full, the atmosphere remained comfortable and not overly noisy. Service was consistently warm and efficient throughout our visit. Considering the quality of the food, service, and overall dining experience, the prices were extremely reasonable and felt like a real bargain. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would definitely return.

A must-visit Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant for authentic Taiwanese comfort food. It is very crowded, so expect at least a 20-minute wait for food, but the quality of the broth makes it worth it. • Clam and Chicken Soup with Cabbage: The highlight of the meal. It is light, refreshing, and incredibly heartwarming. The broth tastes clean and premium. • Sesame Noodles with Mala: These come with a rich sesame sauce and a dash of Mala powder for a subtle kick. The noodles are thick and chewy; great if you love a heavy texture. • Must-Order Sides: The beancurd skin and seaweed are delicious. I highly recommend ordering extra portions of the beancurd skin! Service and Accessibility • English Menu Available • Accessibility Note: Most seating is on the 2nd floor via stairs. This outlet is not wheelchair accessible or suitable for those with limited mobility. • Service: Excellent hospitality. The staff kindly provided a spare umbrella after mine was taken by mistake.

There’s always a wait for good reason. Given the food quality, portions, and ambiance, you’d except the price to be high, but it’s very affordable. The sesame noodles were up there flavor-wise with the best Dan Dan Mians I’ve had. I will definitely be back to try some of their other food!

Great spot for a quick and satisfying meal, especially if you’re visiting as a foreigner. Ordering is super easy thanks to the self service machine outside the shop, which makes the whole process smooth even if you don’t speak the language. We came as a group of six and the wait was not long at all. The food arrived quickly via a conveyor belt, which was fun to watch and a nice touch for kids. The sesame noodles were the star of the meal, rich, fragrant, and full of flavour. We also really enjoyed the fish bait rice and the scallop soup, both comforting and well done. The braised tofu and tofu skin were okay, though we have had better elsewhere. Overall, the place is clean, efficient, and well organised, making it a great casual dining option. Would definitely come back for the sesame noodles alone.

Our friend recommended we check out Moon Moon and it did not disappoint. I initially thought that, as a chain, the food might be mediocre, but it completely surpassed our expectations. Ordering was easy and convenient through the vending machine with English options, and the wait time was short. The sesame noodles were a standout with rich, nutty peanut flavours, and the whitebait fried rice was also excellent. The chicken soup with scallops was nourishing and comforting, with very generous portions. It was also fun to see the meals delivered via a conveyor belt - such a cute touch. Would definitely return!
