Cute little spot with great coffee. Loved it so much I brought home their house blend, it was that good. Friendly staff and a really nice, relaxed vibe. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Taipei.
Little coffee place , not a lot of seatings but offering pretty decent hand crew coffee, way for take out. Beans are a bit pricy but stable quality. Barista makes pretty good coffee and level up the beans. Always get in quickly for beans then get a quick take out, leas busy in the morning if u wanna sit down to enjoy.
Kite Coffee Taipei is one of those rare cafés where every visit reminds you why it deserves a special place on your coffee map. The quality, atmosphere, and attention to detail are consistently outstanding. Their hand-pour coffee is truly exceptional. The beans are thoughtfully selected, and the baristas’ technique is precise, resulting in a cup that is incredibly clean, aromatic, and layered. The Panama Geisha I tried was stunning—white peach, orange blossom, jasmine tea, honey… every note came through beautifully. Both the iced and hot versions have their own charm: the iced pour-over is crisp and fragrant, while the hot brew brings out a deeper sweetness and a long, elegant finish. The desserts are quietly impressive and pair perfectly with their coffee: • The cheesecake is soft, smooth, and delicately flavored. Not overly sweet, with a gentle creaminess that balances wonderfully with the acidity and clarity of the hand-pour coffee. • The pudding is silky and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, with just the right blend of milkiness and caramel. It’s the kind of dessert that makes you slow down just to savor every spoonful. The café itself has a warm, minimalist atmosphere—wooden floors, simple furniture, and a calm vibe that makes you want to linger. It’s perfect for enjoying coffee alone, with a friend, or even with the occasional friendly dog that shows up. Overall, Kite Coffee Taipei is a place worth going out of your way for. Exceptional hand-pour coffee, high-quality desserts, and a relaxing ambience
My initial impression was this was one of the best cafes in Taipei. Then after a few visits, I’d say it’s definitely one of the most overpriced. Still cool vibes but they are charging significantly higher prices for beans that are found elsewhere for 30% cheaper. Service is also always quite slow. For the premium they are charging, they should spend it on one extra staff to minimize customer wait times rather than maximizing profits.
Very strange experience. Ordered the Guatemala soe cortado at 10am. The coffee I got was extremely sour, I believe it was probably under extracted or coffee beans are stale. Service isn’t good, and they didn’t offer to make me a new one. Issue is they remade one for the barista herself to drink and said this is the normal taste. She even argued no one is opened as early as them (when I told her I’ve never encountered any coffees this sour during my visits to Taipei). Please avoid this place at all cost. There are plenty of coffee shops much better with way better service and coffee. This is also not the coffee shop to work at since the tables are WAY too low to the ground.
