Bosu Japanese Restaurant & Bar | Phuket

We found Bosu after Googling the best Japanese food near us while staying in Patong, and we’re so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, the experience was fantastic. We ordered cocktails, sushi, chicken katsu curry, and an ebi don — everything was absolutely delicious. The drinks were beautifully made, the food was fresh and full of flavour, and you could really tell care had gone into every dish. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. A special shout-out to HSU for the outstanding service — you really made our night! My partner even said it was the best sushi he’s ever had in his life — and he’s very serious about his sushi! If you’re in Patong and craving amazing Japanese food, Bosu is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Phuket.

The food is probably some of the best Japanese I’ve ever had. Beautifully cooked, presented and you simply must share with a friend so that you experience more of this wonderful food. Recommend the signature cocktails, the Japanese Wagyu Steak and the sushi was delightful. Oh and there is a great selection of some really great Japanese whiskey if you so choose! If you’re staying in Patong beach make this part of your itinerary! P.S. - Su provided us with excellent advice and made some great recommendations during our visit too!!

I had dinner at Bosu, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff greeted me warmly and even offered a refreshing cold cotton towel, which immediately made the dining experience comfortable and welcoming. The food was delicious, and the hospitality throughout the evening was truly lovely. The combination of thoughtful service and great flavors made the dinner memorable. Overall, Bosu provided an excellent dining experience that I would happily recommend to others.

The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was prepared with great attention to detail, and the sushi was exceptionally fresh and beautifully presented. It was honestly the best Japanese food and sushi I have ever had. The service was highly professional throughout the evening. The staff took excellent care of us, were attentive without being intrusive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. The space itself is very pleasant — elegant, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Overall, a truly exceptional dining experience that I would highly recommend.

This meal exceeded my expectations—every ingredient tasted incredibly fresh from the first bite 🥰 The sashimi set was beautifully presented, featuring toro, salmon, scallops, and uni. Each piece was perfectly cut, soft, and literally melted in my mouth—especially the toro 🤍 The uni was sweet and clean, paired perfectly with the slightly salty ikura for a great balance. The wagyu was also impressive—rich, tender, and flavorful. We ended with grilled crab miso, served in the shell—intense, creamy, and absolutely delicious 🦀✨ The atmosphere was calm and cozy, perfect for a relaxing dinner or a special occasion. 💬 Overall: premium quality, well worth it. Highly recommended for Japanese food lovers.
