Blue Elephant Phuket Cooking School & Restaurant

One of the most delicious meals we had in Phuket with such a beautiful setting in a villa built in 1903, gorgeous Portuguese architecture designed by a family. We loved everything about the experience and Erwin was especially so helpful with deciding what to order, in taking care of us throughout the dinner right till the end. He was an amazing host and treated us like family and especially considering we were celebrating two 40th birthdays. This was an unforgettable experience ❤️

I visited this restaurant today, and honestly, I can say it is the best restaurant I have ever tried in my life. Or, at the very least, one of the best but I would definitely rate it among the very best because of the quality of the food, the outstanding service, the drinks and the incredible facilities. Everything was so beautiful and elegant. Mr. Erwin and his colleague, Zan, were absolutely incredible at our table. The service was extremely fast, they even took pictures of us, and they made us feel very comfortable, truly at home. Everything was brought to the table quickly, and every dish was explained clearly and promptly. The service was absolutely incredible. I honestly cannot compare whether the service, the food, the drinks or the facilities were better, because everything was exceptional. I especially want to highlight Mr. Erwin and Zan for their amazing attention and care. Truly, if you come to Thailand, you have to make a stop at this restaurant.

High quality authentic Thai food restaurant. Excellent service and location is like a colonial house in a big land in the of Phuket old town. The Tom Yum soup was great. Erwin our host from Philippines was exceptional. All in all was a wonderful lunch experience.

The venue is undeniably beautiful, elegant, atmospheric, and truly one of the most stunning dining settings in Phuket. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The food was deeply disappointing. The pad thai was overly sweet, with clumpy noodles that lacked any proper texture. The tiger prawn, charged by weight, felt like a complete miss, at around $50 USD, it was nowhere near worth the price in terms of both quality and taste. The tom yum soup portion was shockingly small, barely enough for one person, which felt unreasonable given the pricing and expectations. The biggest letdown was the Phuket cashew chicken. It tasted like generic sweet fried pork you could find anywhere, with nothing distinctive or memorable about it. Overall, while the setting is impressive, the food quality does not justify the price. I would not recommend dining here if you are looking for authentic Thai food.

We had an amazing experience at Blue Elephant Phuket. The entire evening felt special from the moment we arrived. The setting is absolutely stunning, a beautiful historic mansion surrounded by an elegant atmosphere that makes the experience unforgettable. A very special thank you to Namcha, who took care of us wonderfully throughout the dinner. She was extraordinarily attentive, patient, and genuinely kind. She carefully explained the menu and recommended several traditional Thai dishes for us to try, which made the experience even more authentic and enjoyable. The food was excellent, the service impeccable, and the warmth of the staff truly stood out. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Phuket, especially if you want to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine in a spectacular setting.
