Me and my partner came here for a couple of drinks at happy hour before heading somewhere else for a meal. One of the best bars we’ve been to yet. Local, comfortable and all around good vibes! Will be coming back before we leave Chiang Mai for sure!

We went here a couple of times on our recent visit to chiang mai. Its a cool little bar in the corner of a side road near the Dash restaurant. Our last trip here was after a meal out and it was really busy with a great atmosphere. At an absolute push, using the outside space too, you'd get 20 people. The staff are really friendly and the drink prices are great. The outdoor/indoor cosy local feel of the place gives a nice chilled out vibe. We stayed for hours as we were having such fun! They also have a cat! Unfortunately, we had so much fun we forgot to keep an eye on my wife's handbag and when it came time to pay the bill we discovered someone had helped themselves to the 6000bht we had kept in there. Luckily I had nearly enough in my wallet to pay still, and the staff were very understanding about the 200bht that I was short given what happened. Not the places fault could ah e happened anywhere.

Little gem of a bar! The name "hut" is not lost in the experience, though it is nicely decked on bamboo and leaked roof. Loved it. Quiet enough for a chat and great service. Worth a visit for a quiet drink and they serve great mojitos....

This must be my favorite bar in Chiang Mai. I keep coming back! With its relaxed atmosphere, tasty cocktails and super friendly staff, you'll feel at home there. Music is not too loud, allowing for great discussions, as the Hut seems to consistently attract the best people, both old-time expats and travelers. If you're lucky, you can also enjoy some of the best live music Chiang Mai has to offer. On top of that, the bar is home to a few cute cats.

The place hasn't changed in the slightest since my last visit 10 years ago, because if it isn't broken, don't fix it! Great setting, vibe, music and staff.
