Almost skipped this cafe due to a mediocre experience at their adjoining spa, but decided to use the 10% discount voucher on my last day in Chiang Mai since it’s right by my hotel. So glad I did! The iced Thai milk tea was rich and flavorful (even with less sugar), and while the Khao Soi broth was delicious, the chicken drumstick could have been a bit more tender. The indoor area looks lovely, but the highlight for me was the huge, quiet outdoor patio full of old charm. Excellent service too—the staff cheerfully took photos for me from multiple angles. Definitely worth a visit if you are nearby!
An excellent place for coffee and a dessert Cappuccino - It had a stronger coffee taste which I prefer. Very good overall. Honey Toast with Mango - The taste alone is incredible i just wish they provided a knife because cutting the toast with a fork and spoon was incredibly hard. For sure I will see if they have a knife if I were to order that again. If it’s not insanely hot; the outside area is superior for the ambiance alone. Otherwise - stick inside for the air conditioner. They serve meals too so looks like they have quite a bit to offer here.
An Enchanting Jungle Oasis with the Best Coffee in Chiang Mai! If you’re searching for a truly magical coffee spot in Chiang Mai, look no further than Fahtara Coffee – this place is pure bliss! Tucked away in a serene garden that’s hidden from the main road, the chill area in the back feels like stepping into a lush jungle paradise. The highlight has to be the antique functioning water wheel gently turning beside a beautiful koi pond – it’s so peaceful watching the water flow and the colorful fish glide by. The whole ambiance is top-notch: tropical plants everywhere, shady spots to relax, and that perfect blend of nature and tranquility that makes you forget you’re in the city. The coffee? Hands down some of the best in Chiang Mai – rich, perfectly brewed, and full of flavor whether you go for a classic latte or something more adventurous. And don’t get me started on the food and desserts – absolutely 5-star! From fluffy pastries to savory bites, everything is fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. It’s no wonder this place can get crowded – it’s popular for all the right reasons! The vibes are so inviting that I take all my friends here whenever they’re in town; it’s become my absolute favorite spot to unwind, catch up, or just soak in the beauty. If you want an unforgettable cafe experience that’s equal parts relaxing and Instagram-worthy, Fahtara is a must-visit. Can’t wait to go back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This place is gorgeous, relaxing with the best outdoor vibe. There’s a tree right in the middle, thoughtful decor everywhere, and a soft mist that makes it feel extra calm. We stopped in after a massage for smoothies, coffee, and a pizza, and everything hit the spot. The service was warm and attentive.
From the moment I walked in, the service was extremely poor. The staff did not even greet me with a smile and rudely told me to sit wherever I wanted. The staff seemed to be taking our order as if it were their first day on the job. They were extremely unfamiliar with the menu, and communication was very difficult. For a restaurant that mainly serves international tourists, the staff’s English was surprisingly poor. Their attitude and service were also very disappointing. Halfway through our meal, the light above us started flickering. I mentioned it to a staff member simply to make them aware of the issue. Instead of apologizing or showing any concern, they came over and switched the light off completely.
