Delicious bar food, unique cocktails, comfortable environment, great service from our lovely bartenders. 6 drinks 2 food for 2.5kbaht 🤝🤝 We didnt regret any penny of it! (But i do regret only making reservations a night ! 😭 The next day i went back immediately after another bar, for my fav midori 🥹💚🍈) I definitely will come back again, and only this bar! For every night of my trip 💚💚💚

I had such a great experience at Bar San that I had to write a review right away. My friend and I arrived right when it opened without a reservation. The hostess was incredibly kind and seated us on the second floor, which was much quieter and more intimate than the bar area downstairs. We started with appetizers and they were outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented, with bold, vivid flavors in each bite. One standout was the “Fish Slider,” marked as “very spicy.” We were a bit hesitant, but the hostess kindly asked the kitchen to tone it down and serve the sauce on the side. We only planned to try a dab, but the curry sauce was so good that we ended up smothering the whole slider — spice, tears, and all! I personally preferred the food to the cocktails, but the drinks were also well crafted and delicious. We ordered four in total, and the “Pad Thai” cocktail was my favorite since I lean toward savory flavors. Honestly, it was a fantastic night. The hostess was amazing, and our server, who was on his first day, was full of genuine excitement and care. That warmth made the whole evening feel special during my Chiang Mai trip. I highly recommend Bar San. Either come right when it opens or make a reservation.

Loved this bar - really great vibes and very unique drinks. The grilled beef tongue is a must try too - had 3x myself! Will definitely visit Bar San the next time I'm back at Chiang Mai!

Bar.San., Chiang Mai Had a great time at Bar.San.! The staff are super friendly and really know their drinks they gave excellent recommendations and explained everything in detail. We were sitting on the second floor, and even though the place was quite busy, the service was still smooth and attentive. Nothing was missed at all. The queue system is well managed it might be a bit long, but totally worth the wait. The drinks were amazing honestly, every glass was good. And the atmosphere is just perfect. Great vibe, great energy. We also got a cute pin from the bar as a souvenir, plus a complimentary drink shot. Really appreciate the warm hospitality from the team! Definitely coming back again 🙌

Bar.San should be your first stop when bar-hopping in Chiang Mai. Come early around 6pm to enjoy the Japanese dishes like braised beef tongue served with a raw egg and mentaiko spaghetti before moving on the drinks. The first floor is heavy on bar seats, with brighter lights and chatty bartenders. Those who prefer something quieter may be happier on the second floor—a stark contrast to the first that’s like a private study with jazz playing from the speakers and shelves filled with ceramic figurines and empty liquor bottles. Their cocktail menu goes in a lot of different directions. There’s the tequila-based Pizza Pizza made with parmesan cheese, tomato, and basil, as well as the Shiozakura Collins for those who’re opting for something fizzy with the refreshing sweetness of sakura.
