Great Thai street food with a bit modern twist and touchable price. We ordered the signature dishes, stir-fried oysters with crispy fried eggs and weren’t disappointed at all. Service was good and the place is clean and tidy.

The omelette is super crispy—almost like a biscuit! Pad Thai is decent, and the pig trotters were a surprising highlight. It wasn’t crowded during lunchtime, which was a plus. The garlic on the scallops could be crispier though—it tends to stick to the teeth. But their green chilli pairs beautifully with almost everything. Overall, not a bad lunch stop if you’re heading from the airport to the city!

Street Food Worth the Wait – Pad Thai, Hoi Tod & Khao Kha Moo I finally got to try this street food spot after a colleague recommended it to me a while ago—and it was definitely worth it! I ordered takeaway, and got three dishes: Pad Thai (ผัดไทย) Crispy Mussel & Oyster Pancake (หอยทอด – หอยแมลงภู่ + หอยนางรม) Braised Pork Leg with Rice (ข้าวขาหมู) all from the same vendor. I arrived just before noon, and although there weren’t many people dining in, there were already several food delivery orders, so I had to wait around 15 minutes for my food. Here’s what I thought. Pad Thai: Delicious! The flavor was well-balanced, the noodles weren’t sticky, and the dried shrimp were surprisingly large and full of flavor. Hoi Tod (Crispy Mussel & Oyster Pancake). Super crispy and well-fried. They used both mussels and large oysters, which gave it a really satisfying bite. Khao Kha Moo (Braised Pork Leg on Rice) A friend tried this dish and said it was tasty, though the pork had a slightly strong aroma that might not be for everyone. Travel Tip You can park in front of the shop as they allow it, or park at Soi On Nut 34, which is nearby and more convenient if the shopfront is full. If you're a fan of classic Thai street food, this place is definitely worth checking out—just be prepared to wait a bit, especially around lunchtime or during peak delivery hours!

We had a feast at Hoi Tod Chaw Lae. Their signature oyster omelette did not disappoint. We ordered the fish omelette too but I found the fish a little dry. The fried turnip cake with dried shrimps was delicious. We also had seafood pad thai and tom yum soup.

Oysters and fried eggs - here’s a place that’s been around for decades and was voted by CNN in 2012 as one of the top five world’s best street food vendors! And yes, I can taste why that is. Dish that are most recommend: Oyster with fried eggs (soft) and Seafood with fried eggs (crispy)! I also had pad thai with prawns and stew pork over rice which was good and the highlighted dishes would be with oysters! Prices are reasonable with the quality and quantity. Restaurant is down to earth, clean with friendly staff ⭐️😊. I’ll shall return!
