I finally visited "Robatayaki & Sake AOKI," a place I'd been wanting to try for a long time. The restaurant is located within the Town Hall Sukhumvit 49 Project. The first floor is a live kitchen with counter seating only, while the second floor offers comfortable table seating. I visited for both lunch and dinner. We ordered à la carte for lunch, but the lunch sets, starting from 780B, also looked like a good deal. The menu is extensive and delicious, the seafood is all fresh and tasty, and the staff provides excellent service. I think it's one of the few restaurants in Bangkok where you can experience authentic Japanese cuisine. There are still dishes I want to try, and since the menu changes every few months, I'll definitely be back soon. Personally, I would appreciate it if they increased their wine selection. 以前からずっと気になっていた「Robatayaki & Sake AOKI」さんへ。 お店はタウンホール・スクンビット 49プロジェクト内にあります。 1階はカウンターのみのライブキッチンで、2階はテーブル席でゆったりと座ることができます。 ランチと夜どちらも伺いました。 私達はランチもアラカルトでの注文でしたが、780Bから選べるランチセットもお得でよさそうでした。 美味しそうなメニューが豊富で魚介はどれも新鮮で美味しく、スタッフの方達の接客も素晴らしいです。 バンコクで本物の日本を感じることができる数少ない名店だと思います。 まだ注文してみたいメニューがあり、数ヶ月毎にメニューも変わるそうなのでまた近々伺います。 個人的にはワインの種類をもう少し増やしていただけると嬉しいです。
通算3回目の訪問で今回ランチコースの利用でした。土鍋ごはんでおかわり自由、そしておかずがどんどん出てくるので思いっきりお腹いっぱいになります。女性は少し多いかもと心配してしまうくらいですが、美味しく頂きました。
マリオットの入口にオープンした炉端焼きの日本食レストランです。大将は日本人の方です。二階建てになっており、一階はカウンター、二階は半個室のようになっています。ランチがスタートしたとのことでお昼に伺いましたが落ち着いた雰囲気でとても居心地が良かったです。炉端焼きランチは税別980Bで、前菜からデザートまで12種類も出てきてご飯もお代わり自由でお腹いっぱいになりました。どれも美味しかったです。特に鶏肉がとても柔らかくて驚きました。大将とのお話も楽しかったので次回は夜に伺ってみたいです。
新鮮な海鮮が豊富で、産地直送の素材を使用しているのが特徴です。藁焼き鰹は香ばしさが絶妙で、旨味が凝縮されています。明太子入りだし巻きはトロトロで、濃厚な味わいがクセになります。刺身も肉厚で、食べごたえがあり、鮮度の良さが感じられます。お店はトンローエリアのMarriott Executive Apartmentsの敷地内にあり、アクセスも抜群の好立地。落ち着いた雰囲気で、デートにもぴったりです。美味しい料理をゆっくり楽しめる、海鮮好きにはぜひおすすめのお店です。 This restaurant offers a wide selection of fresh seafood, with ingredients directly sourced from their places of origin. The straw-grilled bonito has a perfect smoky aroma and rich umami. The mentaiko-filled rolled omelet is incredibly soft and flavorful, an irresistible dish. The sashimi is thick-cut and satisfying, with excellent freshness. Located in the Thonglor area, inside the grounds of the Marriott Executive Apartments, the restaurant enjoys a prime and convenient location. With its calm and cozy atmosphere, it’s perfect not only for relaxing meals but also for date nights. More than just a great meal. The food was excellent, but what stayed with me was the experience. Watching the chefs work with such calm precision and seeing how thoughtfully everything was organized made the evening feel special. The warm charcoal fire, the quiet atmosphere, and every carefully prepared dish created a sense of comfort that is hard to describe. Sometimes, good food doesn't just satisfy your appetite—it quietly brings you home. Highly recommended.
5 stars We had a wonderful experience at Robatayaki & Sake AOKI. The food was excellent, very delicate, and full of flavour. We especially enjoyed the grilled Taraba king crab, the grilled sweet chilli, the grilled chicken wings, and the salmon maki, which was excellent. We also had the Kinki fish from outside the regular menu, and it was absolutely fantastic. The service was fantastic from start to finish: attentive, friendly, and very professional. We were a group of four: three adults and one 9-year-old child, and everyone loved the dinner. We were seated just in front of the kitchen, where the chefs were cooking in front of us. The flames and the live cooking made the experience even more special and memorable. A very good Japanese restaurant with excellent food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Everything was just so well done, from the freshness of the sashimi to the small details in every dish. You can really tell the quality of the ingredients and the care they put into the presentation. The sushi was incredibly fresh, perfectly balanced, and literally melted in my mouth. The grilled dishes were also amazing! flavorful, juicy, and comforting in the best way possible. Even the side dishes surprised me. Nothing felt ordinary here. What I loved most was the atmosphere. Cozy, warm, and not overly fancy, but still special enough to make the whole experience memorable. The staff were attentive, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable throughout the meal.
10/10 Freshness & Service! 🍣✨ Today’s highlights: • Charcoal-grilled Kinki fish (Hokkaido) – absolutely melt-in-your-mouth. • KURUMA prawns (Grilled & Sashimi) – incredibly fresh and sweet. • Sansai Tempura – the perfect taste of Japanese spring. The quality of their hand-picked wasabi is so good I could eat it by itself! Finished the meal with their Homemade Cheese Tofu and a lovely complimentary Kinako ice cream. Huge thanks to the wonderful staff for making this brunch special. Can’t wait for my next visit! :)
The food here is absolutely delicious, and the service is outstanding. Every staff member is incredibly friendly, attentive, and well-mannered — you can really tell they care. This place is especially known for its fish dishes, which are excellent, but honestly, the smaller plates are just as impressive. My favorite dish was the tofu — it was unbelievably creamy and soft, unlike anything I’ve had before. Everything we tried was amazing. Such a great experience overall — I’ll definitely be coming back!
