Flare Taipei

Flare Taipei offers a stylish and modern dining atmosphere, perfect for a casual meal or evening gathering. The pasta was creamy and flavorful, cooked perfectly and topped with a soft egg that brought everything together nicely. The salad was fresh and well-balanced, while the soup was a comforting addition to the meal. The interior is cozy with a relaxed vibe, making it easy to spend a few hours here. Friendly service, good food, and a pleasant ambiance make this a spot worth visiting in Taipei.

Unexpectedly excellent lunch spot for a cocktail bar. The Smoked Brisket Cheddar Sourdough and Honey Bacon Eggs Benedict Sourdough were both bold, punchy, and full of personality, with flavors that felt much more like a great pub kitchen than a typical brunch café. The desserts were equally impressive, especially the Pistachio Basque and Taiwan Ruby Tea Pudding, both clearly made with real care rather than feeling like afterthoughts. A very pleasant surprise overall, and somewhere I’d happily return to even just for the food.

Tasty dishes and drinks, and first-class service in a trendy environment

Flare Taipei is where I bought tickets for the New Year’s Eve party. The bar is located underground in a mall, but it has an open outdoor area where you can look straight up at Taipei 101, which makes it a great spot to watch the New Year fireworks. Drinks and service are average, nothing particularly memorable. It was very crowded on New Year’s Eve, so staff probably didn’t have much time to give individual attention. Still, the view alone makes it worth considering if you’re looking for a nice place to watch the Taipei 101 fireworks.

One of the coolest bars I've ever been to, this gastropub has a great atmosphere and a trendy vibe. The service is excellent, and there's a wide variety of food to choose from. However, the pasta portions are very small. It's a very fancy place, perfect for hosting parties or get-togethers with friends. On Friday nights, they occasionally have new song releases or DJ performances.
