Draft Land

Maybe the coolest bar in Taipei. Not for the furniture or design. There are no furniture or design. Not for the waitress. There is no waitress. Not for the food experience... There is no food. There are 4 chairs (more or less), a lot of concrete, and 17 taps on the wall, ready to dispens one of the 17 pre mixed cocktails into a paper cup. But this makes this place so unique. The cocktails (better: mixed drinks) are cool, good taste, fast served, not so expensive. Audience is young (students?). A must visit to have your own opinion.

Great cocktail bar with a unique concept and amazing service. Howard, the bartender, was incredibly friendly and charismatic he really took care of us and made the whole experience even better. The cocktails were top notch. I loved the concept of not knowing exactly what spirit was in each drink and instead focusing on the flavor profiles made everything feel more fun and elevated. We sat on the second floor, which had a relaxed, cozy atmosphere

Chill and nice atmosphere. Cocktails were impressive and awesome with cheaper price(compared to other bars in Taipei)! You can have a drink with friends at 1F or go upstairs enjoying special cocktail. Friendly service. Even you can taste the cocktail before ordering. But very crowded on weekends.

Who would’ve thought cocktails on tap could be this good? This place is effortlessly cool — great vibes, awesome drinks, and such a clever idea. Perfect spot to kick off your night or stop by while bar-hopping. Definitely one to check out!

Their first floor has cool, reasonably-priced draft cocktails with standing room only, but their second floor has a "testing" menu and limited seating! On the second floor, each person will need to order at least one drink, and the price seems like it depends on the day because the menus change, but ran at 400 NTD on 1/10/23. Definitely interesting drinks up here, though, and worth a try! Per their recommendation for a sweet drink, I got the #7, which had earl grey, masala, and rose. This was definitely the right recommendation to make for me - super sweet, but with complex flavors. The earl grey, masala, and rose gave me pause on paper because those all seem like super strong flavors, but they worked together oddly well and left me with a taste that's difficult to describe! It's sweet, full-bodied, and leaves you with a curious aftertaste that keeps you coming back for another sip. My partner ended up getting a custom whisky drink because their testing menu at the time didn't have any whisky drinks. It ended up being a black tea old fashioned, which he described as "very good." I thought I smelled a sweet aroma from the drink (turns out it might be from the distilled osmanthus, sweet vermouth, cinnamon leaf, or all of the above?), but the taste was sweet, strong from the whisky, and with an interesting aftertaste from the black tea and sweet vermouth. We went down to the first floor after, and had a final drink before heading out - the drink with rum, coconut, mango, pandan, and grapefruit was SO GOOD - sweet, creamy, and easy to drink. The pandan flavor was super present, and so were the fruity flavors. It was dangerously easy to drink... They also have a basement floor with bathrooms, standing drinking room, and a little Draft Land drinking board game (unfortunately, they don't sell them...). We loved it! Each floor had its draws, but Draft Land is definitely worth a visit!
