From the moment you walk in, the blue-and-white color palette and the oil-drum-style water cups make it clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating the restaurant’s atmosphere. Even small details—like the hexagonal mirrors in the restroom—may have recognizable origins, but they surprisingly elevate the overall experience and leave a lasting impression. The food, however, leans toward a distinctly Taiwanese interpretation. Instead of the bold, heavy, and rustic flavors often associated with American seafood, the seasoning here is more refined and gentle. This allows the natural sweetness and freshness of the ingredients to stand out. Being on an island, Taiwan has a clear advantage when it comes to seafood, and its definition of “fresh” is on par with places like Japan. Both the service staff and the kitchen put noticeable effort into presentation, making the entire dining experience feel worth the price. Compared to its American counterparts, the environment here is brighter and cleaner, without the heavy, oil-coated appearance that often defines similar dishes elsewhere. The result is a lighter, more comfortable meal. Side dishes such as corn, onions, tomatoes, and salads also carry a uniquely Taiwanese character. The natural sweetness of the vegetables often steals the spotlight from the main dishes—whether it’s beef, pork, or even lobster. In particular, Taiwanese pork is especially worth trying: free of any strong gamey odor, its clean and delicate flavor can, at times, surpass beef. I had initially seen this restaurant listed as one that uses simplified Chinese, but I didn’t notice any such issue during my visit. Overall, the location, ingredient quality, presentation, and ambiance all justify the price. It’s a place I would gladly return to.

Good seafood restaurant. They have lobsters, it's a bit hard to find them here. They actually show the lobsters in an aquarium and pick one to make ans serve. The dishes are quite big but the place is a bit pricy. Very nice and helpful staff.

Amazing food and atmosphere. I had jumbo scrimp pasta. Soup and salad were also very good.

A restaurant for seafood lovers. We ordered a seafood platter as we were not very hungry. The platter is big and the sauces were nice. We see the next table was having the seafood bucket and it looked really yummy. We will try that the next time. The guy that served us was very friendly and helpful! Service was really awesome.

The bread bowl is delicious but the buckets of seafood deals are a complete rip off. Your tray of seafood will be 80% brocoli and corn and they overcook everything till its basically rubber. The garlic butter tastes like pasta sauce. Very very low quality food but service and atmosphere were very nice. I would never go again
